We believe that openness and contact between people enriches life!

That’s why we make the Openhearted games collection. These games inspire people of all ages to be open to others in a playful way to get to know each other and themselves (even) better.

A frank conversation (the word “frank” says it all), opening up your heart, or sharing something essential can expand your world. The questions and challenges in our games invite you to speak from your heart and share your thoughts and feelings. Sharing brings us closer to each other and to ourselves.

Wende den Braver

Wende is the author, owner and publisher of the “Openhearted” games, as well as many others.

Drawing on her experience and background as a psycho-physical trainer and coach, she recognizes the importance of being open to each other. According to her, honesty and openness are the keys to success in every area of your life.

Wende loves people, good conversations, fun, levity and play. The games “Openhearted” are the result of her passion.

In collaboration with her team, she furthers the mission of Open Up! This is her way of contributing to mutual understanding, connection, enjoyment, and development for all.

Mary Timmermans

From the beginning of the company, Mary has been involved in developing the content for the games of OpenUp! With her creativity and love of language, she makes significant contributions to new versions and she edits earlier versions as needed. Her broad background as a manager, consultant, and coach in education, healthcare, and services makes it easy for her to relate to various audiences and situations.

Guido

Guido loves traveling, learning about other cultures, and hearing life stories: What drives people, why do they make certain choices, and what sets them in motion? He recently put these thoughts and questions to use developing the game “Openhearted Worldwide” and the conceiving the series “Openminded.”

In addition to working with OpenUp!, Guido enjoys working as a nurse on a psychiatric ward of a hospital.

Ronnie

As desk top publisher, Ronnie is an essential player in the production of our games. Beginning with the very first version, he’s taken care of the minute details of the layout of the cards and boxes. As a photographer, he knows how to capture just the right image. His keen eye for detail is reflected in all facets of his craft. When we need to connect the dots, we call in Ronnie.

Frank

Frank has been taking care of the look and feel of our products for many years. He is a graphic designer who’s brimming with ideas. “Good design must be appealing,” he says. His challenge is to contribute to candid communication in a fun, simple, and playful way.
